About Hopkinton, MA
The town of Hopkinton is located in Middlesex County, Massachusetts in the Boston-Cambridge-Quincy metro area and known as the starting point of the Boston Marathon, held annually on Patriots' Day in April. Hopkinton was named after Edward Hopkins, a Harvard benefactor. A major attraction in Hopkinton is the Waseeka Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can view wildlife such as blue herons, spotted sandpipers, kingfishers bluebirds, otters and mink. Computer storage firm, EMC Corporation, is based in Hopkinton.
