Perfect school for me

Living Arts College was perfect for me because here it is more about the work you produce and less on test scores and spending long nights studying. Classes are fun and you get to be as creative as you want. A lot of the negative reviews I ...

Do NOT enroll here. Lies Lies Lies.

Ask yourself, ""why is it I wish to go here?""

Do you aspire to be an animator? filmmaker? audio technician?

To feed it to you straight, all the opportunities they are willing to give you can be found elsewhere at a much lower cost. ""Where?"" you may ask. GO to your apple store and and buy yourself the necessary program and read the book accompanied with it. That's it. Thats what you'll do. You will spend thousands on a course that is read straight from a user manual. In a 2 year film course, expect to be taught how to film for about 10 weeks, sorry, let me rephrase, not taught to film- touch the camera.

The school is completely full of it, ask any student. All these L.A. guest speakers, they have, do nothing to actually teach you, they waste hours of the days (that should be used for instruction) telling random stories about their past with celebrities.

The teacher turn over rate is quicker than the student turn over rate. That says something. In the year I attended, 4 teachers came and went. FOUR! They even admit to the school being B.S. and leave because they cannot teach you the way they would wish in this establishment.

Where will you live while attending? Recently I heard rumours of dorms being built.. otherwise, the apartments next door will not rent to students of this school (im being serious) and the ones across the street are expensive. You're third option is renting from one of the admission agent's houses who will rape you of every dollar and get off on it. Between rent at $600, food, and tuition, you'll be spending about over 80,000 for two years. If you have that kind of money, attend a real school.
