Starks is a part of the Calcasieu County area of Louisiana. Major attractions include Calcasieu County Golf Course and Alligator Park. Each year in the summer season there is July Fireworks Festival. Among the biggest companies in Starks are Dollar General Store and Dress Like An Angel. The biggest schools here are Starks High School and Starks Elementary School.
