Acklen Vending Co.
By YourPast February 26, 2015
It has been proven that the owner of this company is a con and a thief. He opened up a dual account (loan) in my name, did not know about it and now my credit is affected by it. See the Better Business Bureau complaint on Acklen Vending Company. The only reason this man is not in jail is the statute of limitations for prosecuting this false identity theft has ran out in Louisiana. Don't trust this man....He will con you out of your money and anything else. ...read more

Ordered a pair of flip flops on July 25, 2012. A month later, I still don't have my flip flops. No one ever called me to update me on the status of my order. I called twice and was assured they would be in within the next few days. I decided to cancel the order and was told only a store credit would be given. Ar you kidding me? It's not like I had the product and decidied to return it. That's bad customer service and I will never set foot in that store nor will i recommend it to anyone. ...read more

Thanks For Your Support
Those of us who live in the US would all be considered rich by most people in the world. The poorest person you know, probably still has clean water, heat, indoor plumbing, access to emergency services through 911, and enough food every day. In fact, if your income is more than $32,500. per year (about $16.25/hour for a 40 hour week), then you are one of the top 1% in the world. If you earn $17,800 ($8.90 per hour), you are still in the top 5%. If you want to find out exactly how privileged you are, you can find a fun calculator for this at http://www.globalrichlist.com/ One of the things we hear a lot of now is that there is a bigger and bigger difference between the poor and the rich people in the US. This inequality is certainly not all the fault of rich people. In the Bible though, those who have money definitely have a moral responsibility to help others who are poor. A reasonable level of equality is thought of as good and as healthy: not only in the Bible, but also by most people of other cultures and religions. Some of the orphan kids your purchases help support are living at the absolute opposite end of the financial scale from us. They are the bottom 1%. This doesn̢۪t mean that their lives are unhappy though. Last year YOU have helped purchase meals for orphan children in Africa. At My African Goods your business really does matter. Every order you place (no matter what size) helps feed a child in Africa. More children were helpedin 2013 than any other year before now by your purchases with us.You have been a special part of someone's life. Because these children can not say thank you themselves. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.Help us make 2014 even better. We want to hear from you. Tell us what products you love, what products we may not have, and how we can make this next year evenbetter. www.myafricangoods.com ...read more
