About Hardinsburg, KY
Hardinsburg is a city in, as well as the county seat of, Breckenridge County, Kentucky. The city was originally established as a frontier fort by Captain William Hardin, the city's namesake. Hardinsburg is the host to many annual events including the Breckenridge County Fair & Parade, Hoe Down Days and the city's Christmas Parade. Students here attend the Breckenridge County Schools which include four elementary schools, one middle school, a high school and the Breckenridge Area Technology Center. The Breck County Head Start Preschool and the Breck County Alternative Education School are also part of the district.
