Never go to MTW in Russell.... Had struts put on front for 714.00 and sent me home to come back the next day to re-adjust them..On the way home I stopped and call MTW and said the car was making an awful noise..John the manager said that it would make noise and that it was safe.. Proceeded home the last 2 miles and parked.. Got up the next morning to take back and 100 feet out of my drive on the main road the car popped and jerked into on comming traffic.Truck was able to stop before hitting me...The wheel blew and the axle popped out with the rim and all... Wrecked my car.. I call police and 911 for assistance..I also called MTW and the manager said bring it back in.I said how would you suggest I do that with 3 tires on the car..I told him he had better call a tow to get my car and get it fixed..He did so..THe mechanic shawn started crying like a baby and said it was his fault he forgot to put a knuckle bolt in as if I know what that was but that was what the tow truck and the police officer said as well.. He kept crying and saying he was going to get fired once the owner found out..The manager John said that he would fix everything back and that he felt so bad that he would put back struts on for free and once all that was done to take it to a body shop to get the bdy repaired and fixed...Once the car was redone I had to take back 7 times to get it fixed and get my replacemnet rim and they never did complete the work .John kept saying bring it back in ..He accused me of taking advantage of him when I said I would like to talk to the owner..I said how the hell am I taking advantage of MTW when all I am asking is they fix my car. I was standing out back and the manager and the mechanic sid that I was a f**king Bi**h and what the hell did I want after all no one got hurt.. Please ! I ended up taking to Ed's auto on route 5 and they fixed it.They did not have the brakes back on correct and did not bolt down the free rear strut on the driver side rear..Imagine that!! Also did not replace the rotor guard and the transmission seal was broken..A clicking noise is still comming from the front right strut as well as a loud chirping noise.. It is also out of alignment in which MTW said they had a 76 thousand dollar machine and I was crazy.. I took it to a shop and they aligned it proper and it was off in the rear tire position and the right side. I called MTW before I took it to ED's Auto and the manager John refused to let me talk to the owner once again and said he was not going to pay for the damage and just deal with the noise.. I said you will deal with the stop creditcard payment and the suit that will follow..I have gotten 2 body shop estimates and both are in the 900.00 range and the repairs for the work MTW did that Eds' Auto had to fix comes to 600.00 not to mention the foul mouth the MTW manager and mechanic has.. Is this how you wish to be treated. Please go there if so... ...read more

I am providing the following information on the Internet, the BBB and the Attorney Generals Office:\t\n\t\nI took my van for a scheduled 4 wheeled alignment on Saturday November 14th. I was immediately called and informed that I needed to have the bottom ball joint replaced. I asked how much. The guy said 45 dollars...He said but you should have the upper one changed to. I asked how much total he said 110 dollars. Again I asked if that was the entire cost..He said well the alignment is 69.99 so a quick thought says 180+ tax OK not too bad. I really did not want to mess up my Saturday by doing the work for that price... I called late Saturday to find that my vehicle would be completed on Monday..OK I thought no big deal, they were to call my cell phone upon completion.. During Monday I lost track of the day while I was at work. At the end of the day I wondered why I did not receive a call. I was off on Tuesday..After I took care of my first chore, I arrived at MTW to see an Employee standing outside. I asked if they were closed. He said ""he"" is late again. I asked if he knew anything about the van in the shop. He said yelp the guy who was suppose to work on it was off on Monday. We should get it today. I wasted a day off waiting on a call. At 2:45 they called and said the van was ready. My wife asked for a total...It was $269. When we arrived I discussed the cost with the manager. He said the guy made a mistake. I told him that I would not have had the work performed for that price. He showed me how the price came to be. I said I do not care what you say the charges are, I was told 110 plus the alignment. I finally told the guy, I think his name is john that I was through with him and MTW. \t\nGot a complaint about them: FILE WITH THE BBB SEARCH GOOGLE FOR BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ...read more

Sargent's has had our business for a long time but we will never go back. They put a hole in our tire with their machine when they were taking it off the wheel. These tires only have 6k miles and they would not replace the tire they ruined. They expect us to wait a week to find out if there is anything they can do for us. Seems the employees aren't trusted enough to make decisions. The manager kept going on about how they didn't do it but they are the only ones who have touched our tires. He walked away while we were talking to him. ...read more

So, I called the store and was priced 4 tires of a known brand. I go there to get 4 known brand tires and an alignment while they're putting on new tires. I end up with a tire brand I NEVER heard of and told I needed over $400 dollars worth of repairs to align the car correctly, because something was broken in my wheel. I own a Honda and it was only a little over 1 year old!!!!!!! I thought best to take it to the dealership. Because I wouldn't have it ""properly fixed"" there; the warranty, future rotations and balances were all void on the tires that I DIDN'T ask for- unless I brought in a receipt showing I paid for an alignment and the service repair they stated I needed from an authorized place!!!! I had also bought an extended road hazard and that was also void and they said they could not refund my money!!!! I leave extremely frustrated and on the way home there is a vibration in the tires. So, I take my car into Honda service the next day and ask them to check my tires, check my alignment and wheel parts; without telling them what was said to me by MTW. They said my tires were way out of balance, the alignment was just a small bit off and wheel mechanics were FINE!!!!! So I then preceded to tell them what was said by MTW, they graciously chose not to comment on other's work, but reassured me my balance and alignment were adjusted correctly, and the wheel mechanics were fine and didn't need any repairs. This was 2 years ago and I have not had to do the costly repair yet that MTW stated I did!! I did align my car again, when I ended up having to buy new tires 8 months later!!!!! Yes, the tires I didn't ask for only lasted 8 months!!!!!! And there were not that many miles on the tires!! Needless to say, I found out quickly I wasn't alone in the schemes from MTW. So don't be taken like others around the area have and go somewhere else!!! Sargent's have been good to deal with and they have road hazard!!! ...read more
