Have been there twice before to check out the food. Received good service, and above average food. Went to watch the Royals game Oct 14 and have some dinner. First thing we noticed was the lack of waitstaff. Yes, a full house and one waitress. She remained calm and courteous. Ordered our dinner about 7:15. About 7:50 she told us it should be coming right up. By 8:15 she tells us they are remaking it. Tell her its too late, and to box it up. By 8:30 (and still no food) the customers behind us who had been there only for about 30 minutes get their food! By now we are furious. I confront the owner of the situation. All we received was a line of excuses. Not interested in making things right. The worst service we have received in 11 years from anywhere we have ever been. Rick needs to learn a few things about proper management, how to keep customers coming back, and the power of social media. Several years ago, this was a happening place. Thursday free taco and band night is gone. Shot prices went up a lot (almost double). Too many sad old country tunes to dance & get a party started. The crowd is rough and there is a lack of feeling safe for a female. It is dark and not much room to move if it is crowded. The employees are not friendly and the service reflects that!!
