Vacationing in Ks. from Az. my wife & I noticed that "The Swedish Crown" had veal cutlets on the menu & as neither of us were familiar with Swedish food we gave the veal a try. We were early for dinner but our (great) waitress, Sherry, said "no problem". We received two LARGE cutlets each w/mashed potatos and young green beans that tasted like they were just picked. The cutlets were done to perfection & had a great taste. At first we thought that it was a little pricey but now we say that it was well worth it. Lynn's homemade sour cream apple pie was just like my grandmother used to make (& I'm over 65!). We went back several times and got to meet Sharon (the owner), her husband, the chef and a young waiter who was the most politest young man that I have meet in years. Had lunch at the Swedish Crown today. The place was busy but the service was outstanding. Had an amazing bowl of Philly Cheesesteak Soup and a salad. I haven't seen a salad bar this fresh and with this variety in a long time. Wow is all I have to say! ...read more
