To Whom It May Concern: My name is Erin and I work at the local fuel stations just down the road from the plant. We have many workers from the power plant come in to our store. I had an idea and was suggested to contact a project manager or station manager to relay my thoughts. Since the stacks are being removed and are apparently deemed a "landmark", I thought that perhaps you could save a portion of the stacks and have all of the employees that were part of the project sign said piece and perhaps place it at the entrance of the power plant. i pay more for internet and phone than i ever have. Why should they require you to pay for home telephone service in order to get internet? I don't need home phone service but they make me have it anyway. Also, I have to agree to a multi-year contract to get a "discount" on internet fees. $55/month for 3mB service with 3 year contract, $75 if you want it month to month. What if I need to move? $185 early termination fee!! Coupled with the fact that there are few jobs in this area, it's no wonder that everyone around here is broke! They do have pretty good customer service though. :) ...read more
