Jiffy Lube

I came in on 02/14/14 for an oil change at the Orange City location just before closing time on my 2006 Hyundai Sonata. After explaining to the fast talking rep that all I wanted was an oil change and nothing else and still having to no air filter, no vacuum etc. he turned the computer in such a way that I could not see the work being done on my car and then told me they were finished and I could pay the $39.00. Only problem is that they filled the engine with oil but never removed the oil filter although I was being charged extra for the canister type filter. When I mentioned that I wanted to see the changed filter he then went outside and came back and said they told him they changed it. I explained to him that I had not fallen off the turnip truck and that they needed to remove the upper plastic shield to access the canister in which the filter was located. They then changed it and he told me that the guy on top thought the guy on the bottom had changed it. Somehow I doubt this is the first Sonata that he worked on. Had I not personally changed my oil numerous times before I would have left with the same old dirty filter and paid extra for a new one. How many other people have been ripped off in this manner or other ways? This is either plain theft or incompetence. Either way, this is not how to do business.
