this guy they call joe mayerherm is looking to get a promotion in jiffy lube as a district manager.he is not worth the paper they would use to write his name on because he is a scumbag.,dont beleive in anything he writes,he cuts customers wiper blades and tell them its ...ripped just to sell wiper blades,,,he changes the customer bills after its sent to the cashier and tells customers that they got a free oil upgrade when in truth and fact is that customer is paying for the same oil they usually get. how low could you go to try to make yourself look good,,there is a lot off things that he does thats illegal to do on customers cars but let me not say anymore becaused he already got me fired when i confronted him,,sorry for you customers off jiffy lube,hope you all will see the light one day. I'd give zero stars if the site would allow it. Gone here in the past when I am in a rush (aka Lunch hour). I recently brought my car ($50k+) to Commack J.L. for an oil change and several miles later, my car starts giving me warnings that the Oil Pressure was low. I bu...y oil and top off. The next day I move my car to find a huge amount of oil on the driveway. Level was below dip-stick. I top off with another 5 qts of oil and bring the vehicle to the family mechanic. He finds that the kid who changed my oil put the new filter in wrong, forced it, causing the new gasket to break and the oil to leak. He said that had I not been using synthetic oil the engine would have seized. Also Jiffy Lube broke my skid plate, which they left hanging from the undercarriage. They refunded me for the change and also for my independent mechanic. It's a good thing I'm an attorney, otherwise I doubt I'd have seen anything, judging by horror stories I have heard on-line. Jiffy lube has finally straighten up there act. My car broke down in front of the shop while waiting for AAA a young man came out of the Jiffy Lube store and asked if I needed help I told him my car died and stalled right here in the middle of the road After seeing t...hat cars were having a hard time trying to go around my stall car he asked me to sit in his waiting room until help came so that I would not be struck by oncoming traffic. He told me he would put my emergency flashers on to warn other cars I was broke down in the roadway. Well after seeing that the flashers would not go on he said it had to be a battery problem. He then tighten a battery cable and I was on my way.he then refused to accept any money and wen asked him his name his said Joe . I since found out he is the manger there Joe Meyerherm JIFFY LUBE I ONLY HOPE YOU KNOW WHAT A ASSET TO YOUR COMPANY THIS YOUNG MAN IS. While waiting in a deli in Commack I overheard the deli worker ask another customer in the store if it would be ok to drop his Deli delivery van off for a oil change later that day. I turned and saw he was talking to a guy in a Jiffy Lube shirt which was (jiffy lube) ...was right across the St. When the guy left I told the Deli worker that he was brave I would never bring my car there again because so years ago the blew up my wife’s car by not securing the oil plug. The deli worker told me that was then and this is now That he has been dealing with the place for 2 years now that they have a new manger there named Joe Meyerherm. He told me that not only does he bring his Deli delivery van there for maintenance that he brings his $100,00.00 Mercedes there for servicing.
