Pittsburgh is a part of the southwestern region/metro area of Pennsylvania known historically for its steel production, the Three Rivers, and Championship Professional Sports teams which are the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. Major attractions include Kennywood Park and PNC Park. Each year in the Summer season there are the Shadyside Arts Festival and the Pittsburgh Regatta which takes place on the rivers and a Point State Park in Downtown. Among the biggest companies in Pittsburgh are Alcoa, HJ Hienz and Westinghouse. The biggest schools here are the UNiversity of Pittsburgh and Carnegia Mellon University. One of the best places to visit when you are in Pittsburgh is Station Square, PNC Park and the Inclines to Mt Washington.
