About Rossville, IN

Rossville is a city located in Ross Township which is in Clinton County, Indiana. The city was named after pioneer settler and associate county judge John Ross. The city is located near the cities of Lafayette, Frankfort and Delphi which allow people to enjoy living in a rural community but still be close to employment, healthcare services and entertainment. Students here attend the Rossville Consolidated School District which includes one elementary school, a middle school/high school and the Vocational Ag Building. The Rossville Town Park offers walking trails, a basketball court, two playgrounds, pavilions, baseball fields and beautiful landscaping. My family and I have eaten at Treece's in Rossville several times and have always been thrilled with the food and service until today. We stopped there for lunch and all of us ordered catfish,which we all thought was a bit strong and fishy tasty, not the usual fantastic catfish we usually receive. We also had smelt as an appetizer and they too seemed a little bit strong. I personally thing maybe they needed to change the oil. We mentioned it to our waitress and then we witnessed her sharing our comments with another waitress and having a good chuckle over it. I only wish we had asked for the manager at that point, which is our own fault. We will go back, but will definately handle differently if not satisfied with the quality of food.
