ON OCT 30TH WE VISITED YOUR RESTAURANT AFTER TRICK-OR-TREATING IN METAMORA. WE HAD A BLONDE OLDER LADY WITH VERY TIGHT CLOTHES WAITING ON US. WE ASKED FOR A BOX TO PUT OUR LEFTOVERS IN FOR OUR DOGS . WE WERE PUTTING SOME LEFTOVER PIECE OF HAM IN CONTAINER WHEN YOUR EMPLOYEE CAME OVER TO OUR TABLE WHICH BY THE WAY WAS WITHIN EARSHOT OF THE NEXT TABLE TO US. SHE SAID RATHER LOUDLY THAT WE COULDN'T PUT ANYTHING IN THERE EXCEPT CHICKEN BONES. SHE POINTED TO THE CAMERA BESIDE OF THE REGISTER AND SAID LOUDLY THATS WHY WE HAVE A CAMERA TO WATCHOUT FOR THINGS LIKE THIS. WE WERE EMBARRASSED TO SAY THE LEAST OF HER VERBAL BASHING TO US AND WE WILL NEVER VISIT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. I THINK SHE NEEDS TO BE TOLD WHY THE CAMERA IS THERE TO WATCH THAT SHE DOESN'T STEAL OUT OF THE REGISTER. SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFFESSIONAL. My husband & I & four friends had dinner there Saturday night & we all thought the food was very poor quality for the money we paid. We ate at the "country" buffet & it cost about $15 per person. It is way too much money for the selection of food. And that didn't even include seafood which wasn't much to speak about. The desserts were terrible. The girl said they were "homemade". I think they were made in a factory somewhere & shipped over here. It all tasted store bought.. For what you get on the buffet, it was worth about $6-8 if that. We will never eat there again or recommend it to anyone unless they lower the price of the buffet. ...read more
