The Stone House - CLOSED
The Stone House, although very productive, has been closed. Our ministry has always been to feed &provide; for those in need. We had our food pantry located in the quarter store building and it was just too hot in there. We were having to throw away produce and bread too quickly. This is not good stewardship. The stone house was the only building on the property that had air cond. We chose to move the pantry there. Ministry comes first. Our sincere thanks to those of you who patronized our store. We still have many of the products in totes and will continue to distribute until gone. So, if you have a favorite item, like the pecan pie, muffin, cake, or brownie mix that you just add water to, we still have them. Meanwhile, pray for the success of the minitry and if you have any donations of food, clothing, household, furniture, building materials, or just about anything, please call 812-755-4449 or come to God's Place. 8073 S. R. 37 S. between Mitchell and Bedford. Across from the Lighthouse Christian bookstore. Quarter store hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 10 - 6. We have some of just about everything! All items only 25 cents except furniture, appliances and formal wear. they are very inexpensive and all monies go to running the food pantry and other ministry needs. We have a fundraiser dinner and yard sale the first weekend of each month. Set ups are 20% of sales donated to the food pantry in either cash or in date food items. Come join the fun!
