About Windsor, IL
The city of Windsor is a farm community located in Shelby County, Illinois. Major attractions include Wolf Creek State Park, where you can enjoy activities such as camping, horseback riding, snowmobiling, boat fishing, water skiing, pontoon boating, windsurfing, swimming and wildlife viewing and within minutes of Windsor, the Lincoln Log Cabin, the last home of Abraham Lincoln's parents. Each year in August, the Windsor Harvest Picnic is held here. One of the best places to visit when you are in Windsor is the nearby, Rockome Gardens, which features a park, an Amish interpretive center, tours, a cheese-making demo, buggy rides and and outdoor store.
