Holder Jim Heating & Air

On November 9, 2011, after experiencing intermittent heating issues with my furnance for some time, I contacted Jim Holder. Jim gave me his best opinion as to the repair, advised my 10 year old furnance was a quality product and should not be replaced, and sold me the part since I wanted to repair it myself. The furnance has been running perfectly for eight days - intermittent problem gone. Jim advised he knows times are tough and he really works with people. I left feeling Jim really cares about people and fair and honest pricing.

Sorry to hear of those who had bad experiences, because my experience with Jim and his group was fantastic. They went out of their way to take care of my problem and charged me far less than I would have been charged elsewhere. I also bought some parts from them, they didn't nickel and dime me (basically wholesale pricing) and they didn't give me a hard time about needing to be a "pro" to handle the installation. I will call them first whenever I need anything done. I sometimes wonder when I read bad reviews of companies like Jim's, and wonder if they are shills or really bad experiences. I'm not judging the reviewers, but it just doesn't mesh with what I have experienced of Jim or what the other positive reviews here say.

Our old A/C unit went out suddenly on the first hot day of the year. Holder responded to our call quickly and the technician worked diligently to assess the problem - which was electrical and not easily discovered. It took some time to find the problem but he did find it and repaired it. Technician was considerate and thorough. Overall I was very satisfied with the service provided.
