Hillside Pet Clinic

I have been a client since 1993. Had 4 dogs there since birth. Dr. Gump is great, is partner is not. He is only out for the money not my dog's best interest. I told Mr "whatever" my dog's problem, while minor, I did not want my dog hurting. He insisted on blood tests and a exam. I tried to explain (in plain english to a "doctor") that an exam would not show anything, unless he wants to see her at 6:00 a.m. or after a nap. AND if I had blood done it would not be done in time to help her be more comfortable. Love You Dr. Gump, but after many years of your service, your office needs help

I trust Dr. Gump and his staff with my best lil buddy. They are all very nice, caring, and a lot of help.

My cat & 2 dogs were initially clients @ West Anchorage Vet Clinic (which is also great) .. but I switched to Hillside Pet Clinic when it dawned on me that driving 12+ miles was nuts when I live about a mile from Hillside Clinic. All of the Vets there are awesome, but I'm especially fond of Dr. Rusty Gump. Very caring and special doc who LOVES animals!! If I had to select one downside to the clinic, I'd have to say that they seem to be a bit more expensive than the clinic my pets went to previously. They will however work with clients to set up payment plans for surgical procedures, etc.. and to me what counts is that they take excellent care of my furry family. :0)
