Real Camping
This place reminded me of the camping trips I took as a kid. Back then we didn't have big clubhouses full of video games, pools or even playgrounds. No catered dinners or cement pads under our RV. It was just us and the outdoors, sometimes a river or lake, places to hike or bike, lots of quiet and an occasional campfire in the evening with our neighbors. During the days we would visit the landmarks of the nearest towns. Hidden Valley was like that. Lots to do in nearby San Antonio and great directions on best places to see, eat, park and play from the camp host. We enjoyed the pet friendly features and walked "dottie" along the Medio Creek every day. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Texas.
