I can;t even give this place one star. Really bad food. I have eaten there several times in the past few years and it has gotten worse and worse.Most all the food is so overcooked that it is inedible, very chewy and hard. I did get a piece or raw chicken there the time I ate there before, brought it home in case iI got food poisoning. I ate there today for the last time. I have a very bad taste in my mouth. Wish I could get my money back. There were l15 minutes late opening and would have been later if a man had not called from the parking lot to ask them to open the door. The food was not all realy til 11:30 and they sohould have opeined at 11:00. The girl running the cash register said the food was late because the ":chefs" make the food fresh from scratch and they want it to be good. We went to 1909 House Restaurant tonight to celebrate my father in law's birthday. Everything from the location, service, and food was wonderful. It is an all you can eat, family style place. Tonight we had short ribs, jerk chicken, their FAMOUS apple coleslaw, jerk rice, potato salad, chedder garlic rolls, baked beans, fried okra, peach cobbler, and Pineapple Upsidedown cake all for $12.95/person. I came in to dine with my husband Monday September 23 2010 and did NOT have a great experience. Our service was slow, unorganized, and unexperienced. When I asked to talk with the manager I was informed that she was " busy". We will find somewhere else to go from this point forward. ...read more
