Concerned about the decisions we had made we finally went to see a financial planner. I was skeptical, I am now glad we did this. Robert told us that if we were not satisfied with the process we could stop and the cost would be the initial deposit. The process was fantastic, it provided us with assurance and gave us a plan to help us move forward knowing that we were making the right moves. Robert helped us with our financial plan and our investments. He is very low key, smart, but was not judgmental The price was well worth it and I know he was completely honest with us since he does not earn a commission or referral fee. For example, he told us how much insurance we really needed, what kind and got us a price to use to shop around with. This was very helpful when we started talking to insurance agents since they were trying to sell us more than we needed. We are considering having him follow our investment choices. We plan on returning every couple of years for a check-up.
