Da Laker
I think it's a great place to go to meet new people and for great food. The portions aren't small so bring your appatite and be prepaired to leave full and probably with a doggie bag. When there don't forget to tip the bartenders, they're funny and very nice to the public , even to first timers to the forest laker. Go for fun and stay for the music and see the new remodeled laker!!! Have fun and Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't have any dislikes.......but likes on the other hand threre are alot. The prices are reasonable, the music/entertainment is great and amusing, and the food is to die for. The wait staff is very personable and just plain fun to be around. This is a great place to go when you just want to have a good time with fun people and not spend a fortune.

The Bartenders are good people and they do have pretty good food. It is a good place to go hang out or to do some singing or see a band play....

The Lakeside
Not quite sure how they can get a way with saying fine dining. Our family walked in looking for a good meal. We were never greeted as we were walking around looking for a table for 9. We finally sought one out in a private room. Our waitress was clueless and clearly overwhelmed. We were the only table in this particular section of the restaurant however. The other patrons passing in the hall from the patio whether in or out were loud and obnoxious (not behaviors I want my kids to see). Our meal took 45 minutes. My steak came overcooked. The garlic mashed potatoes were horrible. Are they really serving instant potatoes with a $20.00 price on the meal?? Crazy!!!\t\n\t\nBy the time my re-cooked dinner came (another 30 minutes) the rest of our party was done and had left the table to play games. I was left to finish my meal alone. At no time did a manager come by to see how everything was. I did see a gentleman counting large amounts of money at a booth across the room and asked if he was a manager. He said he was (and a bartender). I told him of our disappointment and he just simply replied that they were overwhelmed today. Still does not excuse the horrible service we experienced. Needless to say we will not be returning!!

If you are looking for a fight, drugs, trouble, etc. This is your place. One of the many eyesores or Forest Lake. The police are always called to this low life hangout for a reason.
