Finally Independent Advice without feeling like I'm trying to be sold! Met with David Strunc, the founding partner of Sunrise Wealth Advisors and at the first meeting was told to put my checkbook away and not move over any accounts without first thinking about it to make sure I was comfortable with him and get back to him. I really appreciate the non-sales feel of simply having a conversation about what my goals and concerns were without feeling like I was being sold some company’s product. I like the fact that they are completely independent so we went over several companies products and the pros and cons and differences of each. I felt like I was talking to an old friend and not meeting with a financial advisor for the first time. I would strongly recommend David and Sunrise Wealth Advisors to anyone. In the short time that I have had Dave Strunc handling my investment accounts, I have found him to be an honest and straight forward financial advisor. His recommendations have been fully explained to me and he has insured that I completely understood why he made them and what the positive and/or negative results could be by following these recommendations. As a result, although my investments did take a pretty hard tumble do to the falling economy (as did everyones) they are now recovering nicely and I have regained about 1/3 of the loss. I doubt that this rebound would have occurred without the implimentation of Dave's recommendations and I have the fullest confidence in him.
