NUMEROUS teachers have left : Meridith,LaKrisha, Neva, Abby, Jessi, Jessica, Kierseten and Mr. Matt in just the last few years. Owner plays favorites with the baby classes allowing them in the auditorium first and allowing them to save seats. Horrible set up with third studio across the street, and tiny waiting rooms. The quality of dance instruction is MINIMAL at best. At the concert, even the older girls had heel leads, unpointed feet, bent legs, no musicality, and minimal difficulty choreography. AVOID THIS STUDIO AT ALL COST! HIGH teacher turnover, lets see in just the short 3 years we have been at this studio, La'Krisha, Jesse, Jessica, Kiersten, Meridith, and Neva are all gone! The replacement is a new 20 year old with a BAD Attitude. Disappointed with how this new teacher talked about clubbing with the teenagers, and made inappropriate comments backstage during the concert. This studio needs to get up to date and sell tickets ONLINE with a seating chart instead of having mass crowds wait in the heat and rain outside at GGHS. Not to mention that BDA got kicked out of GCHS due to their students trashing the band and music rooms, thus the move to the smaller GGHS. THis from the owners own mouth. ...read more

I love this place because I can take all 3 of my kids there (ages 18months, 3 1/2 and 8) and they all have fun. Also I can sit at the table and read a magazine or work on my computer while they play. They have wi-fi too. The kids love it there! ...read more

My daughter has been dancing with BDA and Ms. Wendy for more than 5 years and has been given a superior dance education that is so very hard to find in the Naples area. The studio offers a friendly atmosphere, state of the art dance floors, clean environment and the best teachers. The students work very hard each and every year to put on a performance that each and every one will remember the rest of their lives. The excitement on their faces as they get on that stage is priceless and each student deserves their moment to shine, regardless of how long the performance may be. It's too bad that people don't appreciate the hard work and effort each child puts into their performance at the year end concert; because it truly is all about them. Our family has been a part of BDA for at least 5 years. Every year, the student numbers grow and the staff at BDA seems to accommodate them with ease. A top notch studio, complete communications, professional actions and expectations. As 1 dancer among nearly 400, BDA has made efforts to split the performances into two shows, additionally leaving the option for student to opt out of the end of year concert. I am proud of my dancer (and past dancers), and am equally proud to have been a part of a highly reputable studio who has truly set the standard in Naples for quality of programs, value, and respectable performances and love to see the accomplishments of all the dancers. My daughters have been attending this Academy for 4 years and I couldn't be happier with the staff and classes. My daughters love going to class each week and it is great to see them gaining confidence by trying different dance styles and by performing on stage at the end of the year. The concert at the end of the year is to showcase each and every dancer and to give them time on the stage. The length of the show is only a sign of how many dancers BDA has at their studio. If this wasn't a great studio, there wouldn't be as many dancers...that is easy to see. I do know that the owners try to accommodate their growing population by splitting the concert into two shows or more if needed. As a parent, of course I am there to see my children. Would it really be possible to have a five minute show for each class and then have those parents leave and the others come in? Dinosaur Playground is great because they offer so much more than meets the eye... They offer "parents' night out" childcare by the hour, music lessons, birthday parties and more, and they are going to be expanding soon to offer even more classes and private parties.
