Unbelievable!! I went to Popeye's last nite. After placing order and paying, I had to pull up and wait for chicken-no problem, wait wasn't long, employee said, "You had two 2-piece dinners?" I told her I had a 2-piece and 3-piece, she assured me that's what she brought-I should have checked-Ihad a sick child with me and I was in a hurry. So I get home-I'm missing a piece of chicken!! I know this isn't a major, but it's the principle. So I call the Manager, she writes my name down, go by today to get my one piece of chicken(drive-thru). After telling my entire story to the girl at the window, she tells me I've got to go inside and who knows what else just to get that 1 piece of @#$% chicken that was Popeye's fault to begin with!!!!!! Not to mention how expensive their chicken is. The thing is: Are you kidding me, girl at the Popeye's drive-thru? For one piece of chicken, that is sooo over-priced to begin with, I've got to go inside, prove who I am, what? Ridiculous. ...read more

I visited the drive thru. My card was stolen by the drive thru employee. I have no doubt of this because I went straight home and noticed it gone. The manager was rude and unhelpful. Luckily my bank investigated and returned the money that was charged to the card after it left Popeyes. ...read more

I had to bring my father to the VA Hospital there and we normally have lunch after our visit. On our last visit there we ate at a nearby old fashion soda fountain only to find out on our recent visit they had closed. The lady in the drugstore recommended Chasteens and we could not have been any more pleased. The atmosphere was like stepping back in time which is a nice change from the big city. The food was excellent, everything from our soup to the sandwiches we ate and the Chasteens and their employees were very friendly and hospitable to us. I only wish they were closer I would be a regular customer and I highly recommend to anyone who happens to visit there. We look forward to our next visit and definately plan to go back. Oh...by the way everything is fresh and homemade, and the carrot cake...um um good!! ...read more
