I have gone to John's Computers and Electronics several times over the years and I must say, John delivers excellent product knowledge and his items are very affordably priced. True, it is a "no-frills" shop but what he lacks in ambiance he more than makes up for in knowledge and a willingness to assist every customer that comes through his door. He has fixed several computers for me, usually within a day or two of dropping them off. He has a large supply of hard to find parts as well as everything you would need to build a computer from scratch. The problem with most chains is that they usually don't carry everything you need. And with specialty shops, you are usually met with computer techs that know a lot, but have absolutely NO customer service skills.John's Computers and electronics is like the best of both worlds, knowledgable and superior customer service AND affordable prices.
