Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I reserved a car in Snohomish and the computers were down.Larry(manager there) was working and told me he could not rent to me even though he had cars. He said they could not swipe the CC. I said you can call. Cant you write up a contract and call another office and he said no I can't do that. After 15 mins of basically begging, because I need rental for a funeral. He said he would have his driver drive me to Kirkland.I drove down and met Sean. He hooked me up with car and was very helpful nice guy.He then proceeded to tell me how another manager was in logging in contracts he had to write up from the bothell location that had computers down. So he made it clear Larry in Snohomish could have written contract but chose not to. Bill was my driver down to Kirkland and was good guy to chat with down there.
I have rented twice from Enterprise this year and both times were comedy of errors, eventually the district manager or area manager called me back and took care of the rental price but I would certainly prefer to just get my reservation honored.
The area manager Chad told me he talked to Larry and he was telling him that he offered to write it up but I wanted to go to Kirkland? Why make up such stupid lie? I am in his office to rent a car, why would I want to go 30 miles away and waste 3 hours?
The grand finale off my rental experience is when I returned the car. The kid who drove me back to my hotel was asking me about truck driving and money etc. I told him the money he could make and how it worked etc. He then was asking about smoking pot and drinking while on the road, when off work. I told him you can do neither, but when he said oh I couldn't do that without smoking pot, it confirmed to me that the dumbing down of society is complete..
Such a sad enterprise experience.
