Dutch Mothers does it right. Their food, their service, their atmosphere are the best in the area. (PERIOD) They have a morning waitress named Marilyn and she is the best in the Lynden area. (My brother and I eat out for breakfast four days a week.) If you're in the Lynden area, do yourself a favor and stop at Dutch Mothers, I promise, you won't be sorry.

We had a reunion of classmates from the American School in the Hague recently and ate here to bring back "memories." The service was great, shared plates and special requests were graciously accommodated. The menu does have dishes typical for the Netherlands that are not served elsewhere. The prices were reasonable, and we had a good meal.

I will never go again. It came so highly recommended. I was told about their awesome food and their great service. Their food was ok. Not really any better then a Sheri's or a Denny's. The service I received was terrible. I had to ask for everything. They never once just refilled my drink because it was empty or even offered to. I had to ask. They were not very friendly.
