I attempted to remove the popcorn ceiling in my home. Note the word attempted. The popcorn ceiling had been painted, and was impossible for me to remove. I had just bought this home, and everything looked great, but the popcorn - so I had to remove it. It clashed with the overall look.

Anyways, I called around, got some quotes from licensed drywall contractors and some licensed painters too. I did not connect with anyone, they were pricey and a little pushy. I emailed Ron asking for a quote, I did not even talk to him on the phone until the project was completed, and he called to thank me and make sure everything was up to my standards. I was very impressed with how this company handled my project.

Here is my recommendation to R&H Drywall of San Jose, Ca. I found R&H Drywall on google maps when searching for a drywall contractor. Ron was the first contractor I called, and I was very impressed. He was very professional over the phone, and extremely polite. He made a very good first impression. I called a few other drywall contractors who seemed un-professional, too cheap, unlicensed, I just had a bunch of problems. Half of the contractors I called could not even speak good English! I ended up calling Ron back accepting his bid! He was affordable (not the cheapest) he was professional, he spoke perfect English, and he made the best impression! R&H Drywall will be the only drywall contractor when I have a drywall job to do. Their workmanship was excellent- they removed my popcorn ceiling, painted the ceiling, tore out and installed sheetrock in my laundry room, and did some ceiling repair in my bathroom. Overall my experience was wonderful, and I will defiantly be recommending R&H!
