Would you be surprised to hear that we shop flea markets, antique shops and garage sales? Well we do. In our quest to become a green build professional it just seemed right. Turns out it's also fun and creative.
Not only does Dr. Homes reuse home furnishings but we also
reuse building materials. This is possible through the deconstruction of a home
rather than the demolition of it. And boy what a bounty you can harvest from
deconstructing a home, wood, doors, windows, hardware and bathtubs to name just

Superior Customer Service
I don't have a lot of money and I had another roofer contractor come here and they tell me that I have to replace my roof for 5,000 and nothing else can be done about it. I called Dr. Homes and asked them how much it would cost to replace and they told me it would cost ...4,000 to replace this flat roof. I told them I didn't have 4K and they at least said they would come out and attempt to repair it. They came out yesterday on a Saturday during the hottest part of the day and repaired my Roof. I tell you it was so hot up there I nearly burnt my fingers on the roof and they were working so hard for me. I was amazed because I tried to help but I am 68 years old and I couldn't last but 20 minutes and I had to get down from there because the sun was so hot. I take my hat off to you Dr. Homes and thank you for saving me so much money right now and on top of it giving me a 20 percent senior discount. Impressive Remodel and Great job Cleaning Upâ
Dr. Homes has been working on my split-level home for the past couple of weeks. Among other things he put a new roof on my home, replaced the old wood siding with stucco and the old aluminum windows were replaced with new vinyl windows. Dr. Homes was very meticulous in... their work as well as in the daily clean-up of their work around my Home. Dr. Homes made small Improvements where they saw the need. For example, they put wire mesh in front of a garage vent to replace the old one that had been destroyed by an animal. They did an outstanding stucco and roofing job and even hauled all of my accumulated junk (rusted metal gates, a broken bike and lawn chair etc.) to the dump for me, leaving the house as well as the surrounding looking fantastic. As a matter of fact, the neighbor across the street from me was so impressed with Dr. Homes quality of work that he has commissioned him to fix his house. I am happy to give Dr. Homes this review as a letter of endorsement and would recommend him.

Beautiful Ramp & Stairs
Dr. Homes has done a very satisfactory job on our ramp. He has done work for me prior to this and has always been very conscientious and thorough. We are truly enjoying using the nice ramp and the new sidewalk to our garage and other patio area. We get compliments on th...e ramp quite often from our local Coronado neighbors. People notice and appreciate the beautiful wood and design. I called Dr. Homes and made a request. Could you guys build me a wooden ramp and sidewalk? Mike said it would be his pleasure. I needed the ramp because I fell off the steps that were previously there and I’m getting up in my years and so is my husband. Just because we’re getting older doesn’t mean we should be limited. Skilled Handymen At A Very Reasonable Price
After checking Mike's references I decided he would be the best choice for me. I gave Mike a list of things to do like touch up paint, fence repair, fix tub drain and so on. He did a job well done. I turned him on to my friends and family and would use him again in the future.
Dr. Homes Demolition Service
I was looking for a contractor to demo the sheetrock and insulation that was in my garage. When I called Dr Homes and spoke with Mike, I could tell right away he was a professional by the many questions he asked and the explanation of how they would do the job. When he... and his crew arrived, they immediately went to work and carefully started the demo. Did I mention that there were 3 layers of sheetrock and two layers of insulation? The previous owners had done this to insulate the garage for band practice. When the crew found that out, they demolished down to each layer and stopped to discuss my options. I was impressed by how quickly they worked and how neatly they left the job site. As a result of their proficiency, I decided to use Dr. Homes for the remodel. Thanks Mike for a job well done!
