Double D Towing

I wanted to take a few moments to provide feedback on the
service I received this evening
and to Thank You.

I called Double D Towing at approx. 6:30PM on Thursday
February 24, 2011.

The phone was answered promptly (about 3 rings) by Paul.

I explained that my wife was in a bit of a bind due to an issue
with the emergency
brake. The cable for the brake had completed frayed and broke
off about about
2 ft. down inside the dash, and since the brake wouldn't release,
the vehicle
couldn't be driven.

Paul informed me that he would dispatch a driver and have
someone on site in approximately
45 minutes.

The driver (Harry) arrived within the 45 minute quoted time,
immediately assessed
the situation, was able to get the break to release, and had me
ready to go in all of
about 5 minutes!!! I learned a very important fact fro m Harry
should I ever need to
release the break again by just locating where to manually

release the gear that
operates the emergency break. AWESOME!, since I'm not a
mechanic in any sort of way.

A few more minutes of paperwork and running my credit card,
and I was able to get
back home without having to spend a much longer night of
being towed to my
dealer for a night drop. Obviously this would have made the
situation much more
inconvenient for me and my family's schedule.

I asked Harry if I could include a tip on my bill, and he said he
was just happy he was
able to assist me in getting back on the road. He indicated that
his fee was already
included in the trip charge!

In summary, I wanted to say THANK YOU to Double D, Paul and
especially Harry
for the fast, courteous, and honest service I received on what
was already a
rainy and complicated night

I'm writing to let you know that your driver,
Jon, helped me so much with my car today. My
situation was very scary as my car was taken
over by water (with me in it). This left the
car covered in mud and sitting in water
overnight. Jon called me the next day and I
helped him with directions to get to the car, as
it was in the middle of nowhere; he was very
patient and even sent me a message upon my
request once he recovered the car. In his
message he wrote that he got the car and hoped
that everyone who was in it got out okay. I was
surprised that he was even able to tow the car
in the position and condition it was in. When I
met up with him at the shop where he dropped off
the car (to give him payment), he continued to
say that he was thankful I got out alive and how
scary it must of been for me. It isn't often
you meet someone who is genuinely concerned
about your well-being, especially when you don't
know them and your only reason for meeting
