Reviews about Dobbin House Tavern
Dobbin House Restaurant
A pre-Civil War era establishment, that survuved the Civil War, is one of the nicest establishments in Gettysburg in which to dine on a special occaision. For a Romantic evening, the couple will enjoy the dining setting of Canopy beds used as tabel decor. A wondering violin player, mingles amongst the guests playing Civil war era music. The food is excellent, its pricey, but for a special occaision, and a once in a lifetime experience, it is well worth it.

The cuisine here is delicious. Best French Onion soup I have ever had. Wait staff are delightful and attentive. Atmosphere is lovely. Best restaurant in Gettysburg, hands down.

Stepping into the Tavern of Dobbin House is like stepping back in time. The servers are dressed in period attire and serve you well portioned`, GREAT meals next to a stone fireplace. They have an extensive wine collection and wonderful food. Well worth a visit for a meal or even just a drink.
