I WOULD RATE THIS PLACE LOWER IF I COULD! I live 2 blocks away and eat breakfast there every Saturday and Sunday, For the last 3 months or so they have not gotten 1 order right. I asked to talk to the manager. After 25 minutes still a no show the poor waitress was completely embarrassed that the manager did not show. I finally left The waitress did remove my meal which was cold when it got to the table along with the other 3 meals ordered. I call the regional manager a guy named Doug that was an effort in futility since all he did was make excuses for the manager who was also the cook Becky. This of course only makes the situation worse since she was the one who couldn't get the order right in the first place! I guess no matter who I talked to it would have done no good. I have been to R&R three times. It is indeed a diamond in the rough. Having renovated a building with a notorious past, I think the owners have a bit of history to get past, but locals take note. Go! The place is clean with he cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a bar/restaurant. There is obviously a very talented cook on staff. I have had: crab cakes, prime rib and chicken Chesapeake. They have all been excellent. Don't refuse the corn pone appetizer. It is different, rich and really good! The sides are very good with the garlic potatoes being out favorite. For a nice relaxed place to eat with reasonable prices, I think you will be very pleased. The atmosphere is that of a bar/restaurant but the clientele have always appeared to be pleasant and actually pretty quiet. The food is awesome and the decor is fun!
