Care for a stray cat

My wife and I have an open heart for stray animals. We found a cat on May 6 in the woods next to our house. He was very skinny, but very, very friendly. We gave him food, water, and bed in our garage for the night. He figured out he had been declawed, and he was sick. We took him to Dallas Highway Animal Hospital and Dr. Gaines gave him great care. She gave him an exam and diagnosed his illness and came up with a treatment plan. All the while the staff treated this stray cat (we named him Taurus), as he was our own. He is healthier now and has put on some healthy weight! Thanks again to the entire staff at DHAH!
