A disappointing experience. We had hoped that hiring a professional remodeling firm would make the task of a bathroom renovation easier, but it didn't work out that way. Too much went wrong, from a lack of attention the designer paid to our specifications to ill-suited plumbing fixtures that had to be removed again (surrounding tile work included!) The company failed to order enough tiles, which dragged out the active demolition/construction phase to nearly 5 months. To top things off, some of the contractors did sloppy work, despite assurances by Litchfield Hills Kitchen & Bath that all their contractors were highly skilled experts. (We ended up finishing poorly patched drywall, uneven tile caulking and tighten lose plumbing fixtures ourselves after we got tired of living with it.) Sorry to say that we have to give this company low grades across the board, for planning, execution and supervision. By engaging LHKB we ended up paying a premium for added headaches, confusion and frustration. Went specifically to try their pizza. It's "gourmet style". Was OK. Nothing to write home about. The restaurant is small and spartan. The room is sqare with a lot of hard surfaces, so it is incredibly noisy considering how few people it accommodates--to the point it was downright irritating. Parking was terrible. Service was friendly and accommodating.\t\n\t\nCannot comment on the food. They have a good menu, with lots of traditional Italian dishes. Meals average about $20 a plate.
