Westview at Lincoln Station by Cortland

18/2014 The only pro to these apartments are the location. However there are two superior apartment complexes on the same street. One directly across the street and one awesome complex right next to Lincoln station on the same side of the street. The biggest con is the common hallways. They smell horrible because they have no ventilation.  You and your guests will be greeted to the smell of trash, weed, and mildew every single time you open your door or arrive home. When you view the apartments they show you models attached to the leasing office.  Take my advice ask to walk through another building you will see how smelly and awful they really are. Insult to injury is the paint job: alternating door way are dusty blue and burnt orange with huge LIME GREEN stripes running both vertical and horizontal with dark brown old metal doors. HIDEOUS.  The patio is so small it is useless. Inside the square footage is used in weird places bedrooms are small I couldn't fit all of my furniture in the master bedroom but there is a huge useless open space in master bathroom.  Other bedroom and bathroom are insanely small with a tiny tub, small closet my roommate could only get out of bed on one side and only fit one of her end tables in the room. Parking spaces are way to small your car will get scratched several times it's unavoidable.  Lots are not maintained in the winter so walking to the parking garage is dangerous if you aren't in hiking boots. Office staff is a rotating door of people who only treat you with respect prior to signing your lease.  Garbage service while nice at other places is a nightmare here because of the hallways that have no ventilation you get to pay 25 dollars a month to have a hallway that smells like a landfill.   Bottom line: KEEP LOOKING. I now live right next to Metropolitan so I still have the awesome location but for the same rent I get more square footage, two large master suites with large closets and soaking tubs in both. A desk for each bedroom. Huge patio, common hallways that are clean and pleasant smelling. My biggest regret is that I didn't look here to begin with. Don't make my mistake Metropolitan at Lincoln station is the worst in the area choose one of the other far superior places. This one isn't even in the game. ...read more
