This is an excellent grocery store I have patronized for a decade. I have only good things to say about it except for one glaring exception: the pharmacy.\t\n\t\nCustomer-service skills are sorely needed for this rude, inattentive staff. Few, if any, have been trained to look up and say, with simple civility, "I'll be with you in a minute" when you arrive to drop off a prescription. Long lines -- a regular occurrence -- rarely produce a helpful solution like sending another person to one of the frequently unmanned cash registers. They putter about their jobs unconcerned as the line grows longer.\t\n\t\nA recent glaring example of their utter indifference to service occurred when I called with one simple question: had my physician faxed in my prescription. After being instantly put on hold, I waited a long period of time with no answer. In the interim, the system timed out four times, which set the phone to ringing again. On each occasion, someone quite obviously picked up the phone and pressed hold again.\t\n\t\nWhen I finally hung up in frustration and called back, I got a different person who said, you guessed it, "Can you hold?" Whereupon I said, no, I can't and squeezed in before he hung up that I just wanted to know if my prescription had been faxed in. It took him all of 10 seconds to confirm that it had. \t\n\t\nWhen I informed him of what had happened before, he sarcastically said, "Thanks," -- certainly not "sorry for the incovenience"; that would violate his rudeness training manual.\t\n\t\nStore manager, if you read this, please take action. This crew is badly in need of additional training. It's a black mark on a store that is otherwise staffed with dozens of friendly, customer service-oriented people. ...read more

I had a cesarean section and tubal litigation on 11/19/2009. I was released from the hospital on 11/21/09 my husband went in to fill my prescription on 11/21/09 for 30 generic pecocits and I took them every 4 hours and went to the Dr. on 11/23/09 (not that I should even have to justify myself) and got another Rx for 30 more generic percocits my husband brought in the Rx to have it filled was told it would be 45 minutes to fill. He went back to pick up the Rx and we were told that it was too soon to fill my Rx and they said they called us and if it was them who called us from DNA DP RMN MNG as soon as my husband answered the phone they hung up. On average we spend about $800/month at your store and I am very upset with the lack of service from your pharmacy. I just wanted to let you know that you have lost us as a customer and I wanted you to know why so that maybe it won't happen to some other person who really needs their medication!! Sincerely, Lisa Jurgonski ...read more
