Centralia Child Development Center

I use to work here years ago and I will tell all of you Ms. Kathy cares about every child who attends her center. Yes she does run a tight ship and she should it's your children and your money. I also have had a niece and nephew go here and in just a short amount of time they started getting very educated fast, and ready for public school. I currently have three children of my own who attend and they are doing great! Being a former staff member I take offense to the responses below because each staff member is qualified and they work patiently with your children. Also by reading below you will see some people will say all the staff who works there is for the money and the next person will write they are underpaid and overworked. Also keep in mind and people don't understand this and you wouldn't if you never ran a business. They have bills to pay too. You can't go to walmart and ask them to work with you when buying groceries. Great Place for Children Love it.Keep it up CCDC

I am in complete amazement at the reviews I have read regarding the Director and staff. My family also experienced mistreatment from the staff yet to no prevail the issue was never resolved. Of course how do you expect to resolve an issue with a director that will yell, scream, hang up on you, and defamate the character of your family. I have two children, many nieces/nephews, and friends children that have all experienced the same thing resulting in the removal of their children from the facility. The staff is normally under staffed and unqualified. If you think your child singing a song to you everyday is considered an education, you are sadly mistaken and wasting your money. The food or supposed nutrition they provide daily for your child consist of crackers and cheese. That proves more money is being pocketed by the director and not going back into the facility for the children. Further investigation will be taken into this facility.

If you take your child to this center be certain that you will endure Kathy(Director). She has poor communication skills towards the parents and treats the staff poorly depending on your race. But I suggest they go find someplace else to work that would be more beneficial to their career. Favoritissm plays a big role in how you move up and what you can and can not do. Kathy does not practice confidentiality. So don't tell her anything that you don't want told. I agree with a previous person
