About Caruso Law Offices, PC

Albuquerque, New Mexico Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Law Firm of Caruso Law Offices located in Albuquerque and handling claims statewide and in the pueblos and reservations of New Mexico. Senior attorney Mark Caruso is a former insurance company attorney with 32 ...years experience in personal injury and wrongful death claims. We will fight to get you justice and the most money possible on your personal injury or wrongful death claim. We know the "ins-and-outs" of the insurance adjusters because Mark Caruso used to be an insurance company attorney. Now he fights for the victims against these same insurance claims adjusters and insurance attorneys. Tricks of insurance adjusters and insurance attorneys don't work on us because Mark Caruso used to be one of them. He will use his prior valuable and extensive experience to get you the maximum settlement or judgment. Caruso Law Offices discounts its contingency attorney fee to only 29% instead of the 33 1/3% fee charged by most other personal injury attorneys. We don't charge any attorney fee on property damage. And by discounting our attorney fee to 29% you put more money in your pocket when you settle your case. Why was Caruso Law Offices the first law firm in Albuquerque to reduce the contingency fee to 29%. It's because we don't have high advertising costs. We don't have to pay for the high cost of advertising for television, radio, freeway billboards, Yellow Page listings and the sides of buses. Because we don't have the high advertising costs, we pass this savings on to you--our clients. You will put more money in your pocket, and the attorney puts less money in his pocket. You still receive the same quality legal representation from an attorney with 32 years experience, but you only pay a discounted fee at the conclusion of your case. Also, studies have shown that juries are less likely to award large amounts of money to plaintiffs if the jury perceives the attorney as an ambulance chaser with lots of public media advertising. The less advertising we do in the public media, the better the appearance of your case before the jury. We have 2 offices in Albuquerque to serve our clients in the North East Heights (Montgomery & Carlisle) and the West Side (I-40 and Coors). Mark Caruso will meet you after hours and on weekends at your home, work or hospital. Unlike alot of other personal injury and wrongful death attorneys we offer a free and confidential consultations with an attorney, not just a paralegal or legal assistant. Call us at 505-883-5000 to schedule a free consultation. You should never hire an attorney based on an advertisement alone. The best source of information about an attorney or a law firm are the real client testimonials. After we conclude every case, we ask our client to write their thoughts about Caruso Law Offices. We are proud to say that we have been highly endorsed by our clients. Phoenix School of Law is First Choice for Giovanna Caruso

Phoenix School of Law is first choice for Giovanna Caruso

Giovanna Caruso,  a 2013 graduate of a BA in English Literature from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, announced that she has chosen Phoenix School of Law from the list of 15 law schools who had accepted her as a first year law student. The law school is one of three ABA approved law schools in Arizona. She will begin Phoenix School of Law in August 2013.

Among the factors that influenced Giovanna Caruso to choose Phoenix School of Law were the beautiful new one year old complex in downtown Phoenix on the top floors of One North Central Avenue. The law school has state of the art classrooms, courtrooms, library and other facilities.  Other factors included the proximity of Phoenix School of Law to Albuquerque, a substantial scholarship from the law school, and Indian Law courses she will take at the law school.

More important, however, is Phoenix School of Law's  unique emphasis on lawyering skills and its training of its law students to be ready to practice law after they pass the Bar. After consulting with other attorneys who are familiar with the law school, Giovanna concluded that Phoenix School of Law would actually prepare her to practice law immediately after passing the Bar rather than just have the working knowledge of the law without any real practice experience.

Giovanna Caruso

At Phoenix School of Law Giovanna hopes to specialize in personal injury and wrongful death litigation for her future employment as an attorney at Caruso Law Offices.  Giovanna has worked as a legal assistant at Caruso Law Offices during her vacations away from Baylor University. She assisted attorneys with personal injury lawsuits from car, truck, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents and collisions.

Giovanna said, "I studied at Baylor University in Texas.  I studied English Literature at Oxford University in England.  I studied Spanish at the University of Granada in Spain.  Now I get to study law at Phoenix School of Law in Arizona.  I'm so excited about moving to Phoenix and studying law."

Giovanna Caruso is the daughter of Mark and Judy Caruso of Caruso Law Offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Caruso Law Offices is a personal injury and wrongful death law firm representing victims of vehicular, car, auto, truck, semi truck, tractor trailer, motorcycle, bus, bicycle and pedestrian crashes, wrecks, accidents and collisions. Mark and Judy Caruso have operated Caruso Law Offices in Albuquerque since 1987.

Giovanna said, "I've wanted to be a personal injury attorney since I was very young. I want to help people who are injured by the negligence of others--especially those who have been in a car accident, truck accident, motorcycle accident or bicycle accident.  I've been working on these types of vehicular accidents for the past few years, and I am excited about going to law school and being able to do it as an attorney."

2013 Poll: Worst Insurance Company For Your New Mexico Car Accident

Fred Loya Insurance, Young America Insurance, Nevada General Insurance, Allstate Insurance and Geico Insurance are the 5 worst insurance companies for your car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle or pedestrian personal injury claim.

By: Mark Caruso, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Attorney (Albuquerque, NM)

If you have a New Mexico personal injury claim against Fred Loya Insurance, Young America, Nevada General Insurance, Allstate Insurance or Geico Insurance, you may have a tough time dealing with the claims adjuster according to a recent 2013 informal poll of New Mexico attorneys.

These insurance companies and their claims adjusters rank the highest among all insurance companies in New Mexico in complaints to attorneys about the handling of car accident claims involving property damage and personal injury.

According to Albuquerque personal injury attorney Mark Caruso the poor attitudes of insurance claims adjusters employed by these four companies cause clients to contact Caruso Law Offices and other New Mexico personal injury law firms for help.

Clients are frustrated when the claims adjuster won’t pay for all the repairs to their car or give them a rental car. What irritates clients the most is when a claims adjuster challenges the client’s complaint of pain or injury or tells the client to just take a Tylenol and get some rest.

One reason why these four insurance companies may be so difficult to deal with is because the personal injury claims adjusters for these four insurance companies are based outside of New Mexico.

Fred Loya, which according to Mark Caruso is the worst of the bunch, is based in Texas and only recently began selling automobile insurance in New Mexico. Their claims adjusters are Texans, and they just don’t have enough years of experience evaluating the dollar value of cases in New Mexico. Most personal injury attorneys will agree that cases are evaluated differently in Texas than in New Mexico.

There have been many instances where Mark Caruso has had to “educate” these out of state claims adjusters about New Mexico law and the valuation of injuries in New Mexico.

As a former insurance company attorney, Caruso has insight as to how these adjusters should evaluate cases and the process that they use in reaching a settlement value.

Under our state’s law New Mexicans are entitled to have their vehicle repaired to pre-accident status or be paid the market value of the vehicle if it is totaled. They are entitled to payment for the loss of use of their vehicle during its unavailability. New Mexicans are also entitled to money from the insurance company for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost earnings and permanent injuries resulting from the collision.

Caruso advises people with property damage and personal injury claims against Fred Loya Insurance, Nevada General Insurance, Young America, Allstate Insurance and Geico Insurance to immediately contact a personal injury attorney for a free consultation.

Claims adjusters have no special duty to you to point you in the right direction. Instead, their job is to settle claims as cheaply as possible so that they may be rewarded in bonuses and a pat on the back by their claims supervisor.

A personal injury attorney such as the Caruso Law Offices will point you in the right direction, even if all you do is have a free consultation. A personal injury attorney’s loyalty is to you–no one else. Mark Caruso will give you a free consultation to discuss your claims against these five insurance companies and other insurance companies that might be causing you problems. He will also give you some additional insight that can’t be published in this public blog.

Call Mark Caruso at (505) 883-5000 for a telephone or in office appointment. We have 2 offices in Albuquerque to serve you–the Northeast Heights (Montgomery and Carlisle) or the Westside (I-40 at Coors). We handle cases statewide and make home visits, hospital visits and after hours appointments. Also, visit our main web site at www.carusolaw.com

Best personal injury and wrongful death attorneys in NM

Never needed to hire a attorney before, so I talked to alot. Got Mark Caruso on the phone and he spent 30 minutes talking to me even though he wasn't my attorney, so I went in to meet him in person to talk about my accident. Felt really good talking to him. They work...ed on my case for over 6 months because i had to go to the doctors. But then caruso was able to settle and get the case a good settlement for me. So I really think that they did a good job for me and i give them 5 stars. Got money in my pocket and went on a vacation.

Excellent job of representation

I don't usually review companies, but needed to highly recommend Caruso Law for the job the group did in my car wreck claim against State Farm. Cordial and knowledgeable about car wrecks and how to deal with State Farm. Good result on my case. If you need personal injury attorney, highly recommend Caruso Law
