Camp Chinquapin For Critters

I took my dog here to be groomed recently. He has been before and I warned them that he is a rescue and before we got him had a cracked pelvis injury. He very rarely shows any signs of it and when he does its just a slight limp. Has never shown that it bothers him when being picked up or handled but I like for anyone who handles him to be aware of it. He is very vocal, but wouldn't hurt a fly. I was informed when I picked him up that the groomer would no longer be willing to groom him with out sedation! I couldn't believe this, his other groomer that we use (because we hadn't made a decision on who to use yet) has never mentioned this and loves him, even knows him by name(needless to say, she will be the only one we use for now on!) I went home, very upset over this because he is like my child and if he was "in need of sedation" I can only imagine that he was very scared and uncomfortable. A few hours later when I was giving him belly rubs, I noticed 3 perfectly finger shaped BRUISES!
