Having, for years, been involved in retail sales and customer service, I left this place of business wondering what keeps this place in business. The inventory is vast and impressive, however, without caring, customer service and respect to a potential customer, all the inventory in the world cannot make up for the lack attention and regard, that a paying customer should expect, when preparing to spend a great deal of money for one of the most important days in a woman's life. I left very disappointed and felt as if I wasn't "good enough" to shop there. Excuse me...but being born and raised in Woodland, and hoping to support a local business, how am I to feel when I felt ignored, disrespected and not good enough to be shown the time of day at one of our local retailers? I headed for downtown Sacramento, where I received great customer service and respect. I hope that the owners and employees of this establishment read and learn from the reviews found within this forum. ...read more

After stopping by the store a month or so ago, I went online to see if there was a forum or site to review local businesses. The one review written pretty much states what I felt. I entered the store, impressed by the front window display, expecting a great experience. I could not have been more disappointed. I was not even greeted until I had been looking around for at least 15 minutes. The one gal who appeared to be the only one working was consumed with the one other customer in the store who appeared to have her undivided attention. They were both Hispanic, speaking their native tongue, and me, as an English speaking caucasion felt as if I was in a foreign country. The other customer had the full attention of the shop owner/employee and I was made to feel as if I was non-existent. The inventory of dresses was expansive and the designer labels, impressive, but the service was very poor. I will not be returning and would suggest that other locals not waste their time. ...read more

When you first see nenas boutique as you walk down main street, you expect service as good as the window arrangement. You will, however, be bitterly dissapointed. As you walk in the door you are paid about as much attention as gum on the bottom of the cashiers shoe. If you look as if you have money, or someone elses money, to spend, then perhaps after a clear inspection of many of the dresses, you may begin to gain some of the cashiers attention. She or he may make suggestions, ask what price you are willing to pay for the dress, or give suggestions when you try on the dress. All of this seems to depend entirely on the mood of the employee, and how busy a day it has been. Frankly, all the pretty dresses in the world cannot replace good service, and I've had better service from a tqueria truck. ...read more
