Though I've been living in W Hollywood for the last few months I was procrastinating on finding new doctors within the area as it is often an arduous process trying to find ones that you like. I was very much in need of a new optometrist so I searched google and found Dr. Jason Peters. Needless to say, he had numerous rave reviews on Yelp, Citysearch, and Google so I decided to set up an appointment. \t\n\t\nI have had a few different optometrists in the past but Dr. Peters is by far the best. Whereas previous eye doctors had given me prescriptions that brought me close to 20/20 vision, Dr. Peters took the time to identify exactly what the problems were and delivered the perfect prescription for me so I now have 20/20 vision with my contacts on :). He is so knowledgeable and friendly, and takes the time to explain things to you. Couldn't be happier and highly recommend!\t\n\t\nCarla Maria ...read more

Loved the service for my first pair of glasses from this office in 2008. The service and attention to detail were top notch. Sorry to say my annual visit for 2009 changed everything with what has been multiple trips to the office, miscommunication between the doctor and his staff, and erroneous information to me (the patient) from both. My issues involved an incorrect prescription, glasses being remade to the same incorrect prescription, and a story that another redo would cost me. A follow up with my insurance provider resulted in confirming what I already knew from trying out the new glasses, that the lab never performed a redo on the glasses to correct the prescription. The lab did say they simply replaced the lenses as a warranty for defective lenses even though they were not defective because they did not receive a revised presciption from the doctor. This occured while the doctor assured me he was slightly changing the prescription to correct the problem. Four months after getting these glasses they are again attempting to have the glasses redone to the corrected prescription. Very annoying that they cannot check the prescription in the office for accuracy and that it took my calling to complain to the insurance company to get to the bottom of the mistakes in this office. Time will tell if they can actually fix this outrageous mistake. ...read more

Dr. Peters is a great optometrist. The staff is always nice and ready to answer all the questions, and can throw in a joke or two. The office is modern looking, with nice colors. Dr. Peters is professional, and down to earth (i.e. hip). He is pretty patient, especially with all the random questions I asked about eye care. Another great quality is that the office is open during some weekends, and not just on a half day schedule either. ...read more

In reference to the review on 12/02/2007\t\nCitysearch is a wonderful site to post good and bad reviews about a service or experience but was unfortunately abused by Michael Cornstubble. He never saw Dr Peters or was serviced at his clinic. You will also find a similiar review by him on Yelp . com on the same day. You will notice with both reviews he remains anonymous, especially the yelp review with no other reveiews or profile. I know Dr Peters and know all about this Michael Cornstubble. ...read more

Dr. Peters has been my eye care specialist since I moved to Los Angeles. He counseled me when preparing for laser surgery, and has monitored my vision ever since. He takes VSP so yearly visits are free. He's extremely gentle and soft-spoken and exudes a caring sentiment uncommon in his profession. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Peters and his team. ...read more
