This customer was trying to return his item after 85 days. If it was a couple of days after the return policy we would have had no problem refunding this customer. The plain and simple truth was that the customer was trying to take advantage of our company. In addition, the product that the customer bought was an Original Sony Ericsson product. This product was made by the same manufacturer of the customer’s phone. Very good quality. While we were trying to discuss his options the customer was trying to convince us that REI would have taken it back any item at any time and that we should have a public restroom. Another customer that was in the store at the time kept commenting on how out of line the customer was. We stand behind our return policy and our product. Try us and see. They'll tell you you have 30 days to bring back an unused item in its original packaging. But what if you have to take it out of its packaging to see that it's the wrong item? What if you have to use it to learn how i lousy it is? AND HOW ABOUT THIS: The "warranty" requires you to bring the product you want to return TO THE STORE WHERE YOU BOUGHT IT Think about it. Gas is $3 a gallon, and your time is worth more than zero. If you don't live very close to the store, are you really going to make a special trip trip to Roseville to return the ITEM? Not likely. What IS likely is that Wireless Toyz in Roseville will keep the profit from its bad product or bad advice. And they might just outdo themselves in the rudeness department in the process. Fair deals on lots of stuff. Shoes are on racks, with just one shoe present. You retrieve the other shoe at a counter there, and you don't get a box. There are definitely some fair deals to be found, True to their name, they sell stuff that is (or was) offered at Nordstroms. Only complaint is that, with the shoes, they put the price on a big sticker on the inside of the shoe, whereas they usually put them on the bottom of the shoe. The problem is that when you try to take the sticker off, it leaves a glue-y residue on the inside of the shoe, sticking to your sock (or foot), rather than getting quickly rubbed off the first time you walk in the shoes. To make matters worse, removing the sticker ripped a bit of the inside leather out of my new shoes. ...read more
