I'm surprised to see negative reviews of Shelly here. Our experience was quite the opposite. Shelly was very thorough in the process of selling our home and made us a LOT more money than if we had tried to sell it on our own. She kept us up to date and was prompt to address any questions we had. Shelly Sherman has assisted us on three separate real estate transactions since 2010, one as a seller's agents and two as a buyer's agent, and I would highly recommend her! She was initially recommended by a loan broker who said "she gets the job done". She was innovative and creative in getting the deals done, when there were roadblocks, and she was very accommodating with our hectic schedules. She met us several times late in the evening (10pm) to get documents signed and was speedy in returning calls and getting us updates. She is upfront and honest, which I can appreciate! We were very disappointed with this group. We filled out an application to rent a house we were VERY interested in. We even drove by the home NUMEROUS times and the FOR RENT sign was STILL up. Being they were closed on the 4th of July (Wednesday) and no one returned our call on Thursday, we went in on Friday (today) to turn in our application. We were then told, "OH, THE HOUSE HAS BEEN RENTED...." I drove by the house this evening (still being Friday) and the FOR RENT sign IS STILL UP!!!!!!! Very professional! NOT! ...read more

I rented one of her slums last year, we gave her a $2500 deposit. Nothing but problems while we were there, and although 21 days has passed and we left the place in a better state than original, she still refuses to give back the deposit!Legally we can sue for twice the security deposit which we fully intend to do!Nita Bennett is nothing more than a money hungry greedy old woman! ...read more

This realtor and her agents give professional realtors a bad name. Shelly Sherman did nothing to sell my home other than put up a sign in the front yard. She had excuse after excuse as to why she couldnt do more (family issues). Seriously? For the amount she made off the sale of my home- it's disgusting to even think about. Nita Bennett of Bennett Realtors is hands down the WORST realtor around. Do not be fooled by her aggressive nature and no-it-all mentality. Since working with her, we have found that she is more of a loud mouth then a true realtor as she has screwed up every facet of the real estate process which has caused us to lose the home of our dreams.
