Grand Terrace, located between Blue Mountain and La Loma Hills mountain ridges, is in San Bernardino County, California.Grand Terrace quickly became an agricultural community after the 20 mile long Gage Canal was built in the late 1800's. Students living in the city attend the Colton Joint Unified School District. The city also has a non public school for special education students. The city's Grand Terrace Elementary School was given the title of one of California's distinguished schools. Grand Terrace was also called one of the "Top One Hundred Cities to Live In" by Money Magazine. Major attractions here include Grand Terrace Days, which includes a parade and festival that takes place every June. Famous people with ties to the city include actor Ricky Dominguez and the creator of the phrase "Pop, pop, fizz, fizz oh what a relief", Andrew Mitchell.
