About Georgetown, CA

Georgetown is located in El Dorado County, California. It has a population of 962 people as of the 2000 census. Georgetown was formerly named Growlersburg due to the history of mining; the nuggets miners found made a growling noise in the pans. It was renamed in honor of George Phipps who was the founder. Georgetown is also registered at number 484 on the California Historical Landmarks. Popular attractions in the area include the many golf courses including the El Dorado Hills Golf Course. The school district is made up of the Black Oak Mine Unified School District.

How this woman gets along as a "respected" children's attorney (judge said it) is beyond me unless you count the good ol' boy system in ElDo. Refuses to communicate with parents, treats us like we are outsiders in our own families. Refuses to comply with orders and rules and when you call her out on it, she'll ruin you. She lies, she cheats, and, if you get on her bad side, she will play every trick in the book to screw your case no matter how right you are. She's very loud - like that noise that goes straight to your brain. Listening to her is nauseating. She knows nothing about you or your kids, yet form strong, uninformed opinions while doing zero research. She's paid by the Court so there is no loss to her if she is as awful as sewage. Just another corrupt empty suit in El Dorado County. And DO NOT accept her appointment if you are in trial fighting an evaluator's recommendations. These people scratch each other's backs. Stay away. How she sleeps at night is a mystery. ...read more
