About Canyon Country, CA

Canyon Country is located in Los Angeles County, California. It is one of four cities that were merged together in 1987 to form the city of Santa Clarita. It is the home of California's original gold discovery site, Oak of the Golden Dream. The site is located in the Placerita Canyon Nature Center. Six Flags Magic Mountain is also located in Canyon Country. The city has lots of events going on everyday such as the Wine and Honey Express Train Ride. They have many shopping centers such as the Wesfield Valencia Shopping Center. The College of the Canyons is also located in Canyon Country.
