Twin Rivers Kennel

I am in St Louis for work and unfortunately I cannot choose the hotel I am in, they have a no pet policy, but the Twin Rivers Kennel was nice enough to let me look through the facility and talk to the employees before I brought my pup by. I was first nervous about putting him in there, because it was my first time boarding any pet in a kennel, but after taking him back, my nervousness went away. I was allowed to take my pup out for the day, bring him back before closing and just pop in to see in to see him. The staff cared for my boy when I was at work and when I was unable to get him out, he was so happy to come back I thought I was loosing him to another person. I am very happy to have found Twin Rivers, that if I come back to St Louis again and can not have my boy with me in a hotel, I definitely will give them another call. I don't have to worry about any diseases, cuts, or any injuries that may have occurred at other kennels. If you are looking for a kennel that you need not worry about, this is the place! for what they do, I don't think they get paid enough.Thank you Twin Rivers, thank you again.

I will not kennel my pups there again.

My puppies (Australian Shepherd mix, and Blue Heeler mix) were kenneled at Twin Rivers Kennel by my wife and I between the dates of May 27, 2011 and June 5, 2011.\t\nBoth puppies were taken to Vet Stop Animal Clinic on June 16, 2011 due to open, bleeding sores and excessive scratching of the facial area and paws area and loss of blood being inadvertently wiped on the living room carpet.\t\nThey were treated and prescribed medication in correspondence to these symptoms. No steroid shots were given by the doctor because Sarcoptic Mange parasites only inflame worse if treated for allergies as such. This was all described to us by the doctor. \t\nBoth dogs have never been taken to get groomed in the past year nor go for walks. There has been no animal contact between the dogs and any other animal outside of our residence aside from Twin Rivers Kennel in no less than 6 months. Within a 1 weeks time from veterinarian care and medication treatment, both dogs show signs of improvement. These are the facts. I will not be kenneling my dogs with them again.\t\n
