Three Valley Campgrounds

I have camped at Three Valley many times over the years, and have camped at many placed around New York. The cabins are rustic and having been to Allegany State park, not much different. You can not hear route 16 from the cabins. You can hear the races from Holland Speedway. The campground is family friendly and offers plenty of activities for the kids. The negative review probably should not be camping.

The camp is easy to find right on rte.16 and while most of the cabins are on the side of the camp that is close to rte 16 there are some further in. The pool is nice , there is a basketball court and a fishing lake. The camp used to be a boy scout camp and is still quiet and relaxing. They do run a decent amount of activities on the weekends. If you like quiet friendly places this is the one for you.

While from the outside the cabins at this resort seem to have character, one opening of the front door reveals the cheesy gloss painted colors of red, green and light brown. The furniture is trashed and deteriorated and couldn't sell for 1.00 at a garage sale. The website said nothing about the horrible smell of sulfur water when you turn on the shoddy sink in the bathroom. The bathroom looks like the worst camper bathroom you have ever been in. The water heater popped like at intervals throughout the night. We complained the first morning, they said they would send someone, and never did. Each night, the popping was more irritating. We left before the last day to get some sleep. When we mentioned why and asked to have our last night reimbursed because of being ignored, we were told that it was too late and we were out of luck. Rt 16 roars by about 100 yds away, Holland Speedway does the same. No reason to ever go back to this place again for me or anyone I know.
