The Tree On Pechtree Pub

I was so excited when The Tree opened---Chamblee is at a lost for good restaurants. I was so impressd with the food and the prices the first time I was there. I went back and the food wasn't as good but I tried The Tree again this past Friday evening. It took over an hour for the food to be delivered to the table. Because of the delay in receiving the food, the smoking patrons were fiilling up the back room and the smoke made it very unpleasant while eating the food. Seems as though The Tree is nothing more than a drinking place since the food isn't as good as it once was. I'm disappointed because I thought we had a good find with this restaurant.

Have been there three times. The first time was an excellent experience except for the dessert. The second time was so so with the food taking over an hour to arrive at the table. The third time was dreadful with the food taking just as long to arrive and the meatloaf was god awful, the mashed potato and I do mean "potato" because there was so little of it and it was cold. The kitchen seemed to be in a state of panic and only four tickets were hanging. Seems to me it's a drinking place and they really don't care about the food.Drinking I can do at home. Chilis here I come.\t\n\t\nPS Have to admit the waitress did a good job among the chaos.

This is a great place. Wonderful food...especially the Philly & Lemon pepper wings. Great entertainment as well. Trivia on tuesdays, and the live bands are my favorite.
